Healing in the Gray

I don’t believe healing is light and airy.

Most of it happens in gray spaces.

In conversations that don’t go perfectly.

In boundaries that feel awkward at first.

In admitting you were wrong — or that you were hurt.

Healing isn’t about becoming softer.

It’s about becoming truer.

Sometimes truth has edges.

Sometimes it glows.

Both can exist at once.
