Learning to Sit With Grief

Grief doesn’t always announce itself loudly.

Sometimes it arrives as exhaustion.

As detachment.

As longing for things you can’t quite name.

I’m learning that grief doesn’t need to be solved.

It needs space.

It’s okay to miss what was.

It’s okay to mourn who you were.

It’s okay to carry love and pain at the same time.

Healing doesn’t erase grief —

it teaches you how to live beside it.
